Purpose of role
Working as a member of the DMS installation team, provide technique solution and support to ensure the effective and efficient deployment of the DMS system. The technical support shall also work closely with other teams (R&D, support) locally and in other countries to escalate technical issues and devise solution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Setup DMS parameters, network for new DMS installation.
Provide techniques support for other project members to solve issues in the project.
Create tools and utilities (i.e.: report, print format, data migration) to improve efficiency of project implementation and software deployment.
Managing customer system include:
- Patching/Deploying program/batch delivered by R&D to customer’s test and live systems
- Resolve issues (application or platform), provide technical solution / consulting to customer (project).
- System maintenance/housekeeping at application and hosting level
Skills / Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor degree , majored in accounting, computer science, engineering or related field
5+ years’ experience years in software development, technical support, systems consulting or systems administration, working in an IT vendor environment.
3+ years’ experience in one of the following programming languages VB, VC/VC++, and Java etc.
Basic IT knowledge such as XML files, SOAP, Database, etc. is required
Fluent oral/written English in business environment working with foreigners as well as local Chinese.
The knowledge of network/Unix OS setup/VPN technologies is a plus
Knowledge of ERP, such as Salesforce, SAP,UFIDA, Kingdee, QAD, Sega, Neusoft, etc. will be a plus
Knowledge of automotive industry will be a plus
For Grade 11, 2+ years people management skill is required
Ability to work independently, at customer site and under pressure, communication skill.
Capability of learning fast and self-learning
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel, locally or internationally, will be required, above 50%
Overtime will be necessary on occasions, and time worked will be compensated accordingly.
