    工作职责:

    Windows System Engineer’s role is to design, install, administer, and optimize Microsoft Windows servers and related components to achieve and maintain high performance of business applications. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment. This position shares responsibility for the security, integrity, and safety of the data center and physical and virtual server farms. Scope of responsibilities include server hardware, Windows Server operating systems, core Microsoft back office technologies, and 3rd party infrastructure software and applications..


    任职要求:

    Key Responsibilities
     
    Windows 7/10 and Windows 2008/2012/2016 server build and maintenance
    Help manage and maintain Citrix ZenApp and Zen Desktop, VMWare, SQL, Active Directory and work towards adopting Azure IaaS and PaaS
    Work with the Senior Technical Management, Product Owners and Project Managers to assist with the implementation and upgrading of technology across the Collaboration stack
    Help deliver service improvements without unnecessary investment in new products by working smarter, provision of better tools and better use of existing product set
    Adherence to Security Policy surrounding platform standards and provides engineering solutions to that policy as directed by the Security Product roadmap
    Supports the Operational BAU activities within the teams remits. Manages problem and incident tickets, plus attends IRBs as required.
    Actively manages and analyses the performance and capacity management of the infrastructure
    Proactively contribute to Fidelity’s Cloud First strategy and assist with the goal to automate everything
    Proactively work with the global team to drive service improvement initiatives
    Ensures effective communication across the department and across geographically dispersed teams, including identifying new skills, skills gaps and working to improve overall team knowledge

    Experience and Qualifications Required

          Essential skills
    Excellent English language skills - both written and spoken
    Understanding of enterprise architectures and processes
    Knowledge of debugging concepts such as interpreting log files, configuring registry settings and application XML setting files, enabling ETL tracing, and analyzing the Windows event log.
    Significant experience with the following:
     VMware vSphere 5.5 and above
     XenDesktop 7.6 and above
     Windows 7 and above
     Windows Server 2008/2012R2 (Windows Server 2016 desirable)
     PowerShell to an advanced level
